Alfa Romeo 146 (930, facelift 1999) (1999-2000)

The 1999 facelift is probably the best 146 for real use. It keeps the Alfa character and adds the most sensible mechanical range of the model's life, especially for buyers who actually want to drive the car rather than just own it.

The petrol `1.4`, `1.6`, `1.8` and `2.0 ti` keep the Twin Spark feel, while the `1.9 JTD 105` `AR 32302` is much stronger than the old diesel. Twin Spark cars still need discipline on oil, timing belt, variator and ignition. The JTD needs intake, EGR, boost-hose and turbo attention instead.
