The logic of the V12 Vantage is both simple and brilliant: take Aston Martin's most compact model and install the biggest engine in the range. From the first 2010 cars to the recent return of the twin-turbo V12, this line captures the image of the most excessive, most muscular and often most desired Aston for purists. A Porsche 911 stays more clinical; the V12 Vantage pushes mechanical drama much further.

The early naturally aspirated `6.0-litre V12` cars became cult objects for their soundtrack and raw character. The V12 Vantage S improves gearbox response and engine sharpness, while the recent `5.2 twin-turbo` generation goes further again in outright violence.
