The 2024 facelifted `Vantage Roadster` takes the coupe's deeper transformation and applies it to the open car. More power, more discipline and a more modern interface lift it to a level of performance that is unusual for a front-engined convertible. The point is no longer just to offer an open Vantage, but to create a genuinely serious sports car that can look a Porsche 911 Cabriolet straight in the eye.
The revised V8, the new chassis settings and the updated damping increase effectiveness, but they also make the car more dependent on software, sensors and calibration quality. On such a recent model, a small anomaly can come as easily from electronics as from mechanics. That means you have to watch the overall behaviour carefully, not only the headline power figure.
