Shown in Shanghai in `2024`, the `AUDI E concept` acts as a manifesto for the new `AUDI` brand created with `SAIC` for China. Against a Tesla Model S or the more spectacular large Chinese EVs, it is not yet a customer car but a show car meant to establish a design language, interface logic and performance promise. This page therefore works as a technical prefiguration note, not as a normal used-buy guide.
The concept already announces the basis of the future E5 Sportback: `ADP` platform, `800 V` architecture, `100 kWh` battery, output of up to `570 kW` and a claimed range of up to `700 km` `CLTC`. It also sets the logic of the ring-less `AUDI` identity, with a highly digital cabin and heavy software dependence. But a concept remains a prototype: unique parts, pre-series calibration, unfinished electrical architecture and charging protocols that can differ from production make any return to the road extraordinarily specific.
