Launched in `2021`, the Audi `Q4 Sportback e-tron` uses the same `MEB` base as the `Q4 e-tron` but adds a more coupe-like body and a promise of style or efficiency that speaks to a slightly more image-led buyer. Against a Tesla Model 3, it remains taller, more SUV-like and more conventional, with the same used-market rule as the standard Q4: verify the real condition of the battery, charging system and software rather than trusting the design alone.
The range mainly revolves around the `35`, `40` and `quattro` versions, with `52` or `77 kWh` batteries depending on trim and phase. The technical logic stays close to the Q4 SUV, but the Sportback often combines large wheels, comfort options and more motorway use, which means tyre wear, alignment, real consumption and preconditioning all deserve careful reading. A good Q4 Sportback e-tron should charge normally, recuperate cleanly and stay stable both in a straight line and under braking.
