The `Azure II` takes the idea of the immense Bentley convertible into its latest and most luxurious form. It sits halfway between old Crewe tradition and the more modern Bentley era already shaped by Volkswagen influence. This is not a compromise model: it is a display-and-distance machine, much closer to a huge open limousine than to an ordinary performance convertible. In practice, it is also one of the last truly old-school large Bentley convertibles.
Its `6.75 turbo V8` delivers broad thrust that suits the model perfectly. There is no convertible version of the BMW 7 Series, which is exactly why the `Azure II` is so singular on the used market. But it also demands maintenance worthy of its exclusivity, especially around the roof, structure, cooling system, automatic gearbox and every component that has to carry the mass of this huge convertible.
