The 2009 facelift gave the CSX a sharper front end and a more polished presentation, but its logic stayed the same: a better-trimmed Civic for Canada, positioned between a well-equipped Japanese compact and an entry premium car. The 2.0 i-VTEC remains the core engine, with the Type-S as the more eager version.
What matters most now is winter exposure, suspension wear and gearbox behavior. Rust around the rear arches, underbody and brake lines often matters more than mileage, and neglected cars usually show tired bushings, imprecise alignment and a rougher overall feel than a healthy example should.
