The second NSX is not just a turbo V6 with electric assistance. It is a layered hybrid supercar with a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission, front motors and a complex cooling strategy, all of which must be healthy together for the car to make sense as a used purchase.
That means the buying filter is broader than on the first NSX: transmission behavior, battery and inverter cooling, software history and the condition of high-performance consumables all matter. A good NSX II should feel seamless, fast and stable. A neglected one quickly becomes a specialist problem.
