The first TSX is the North American take on the Accord Euro CL9, built around the 2.4 K24A2, a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic. It is one of the clearest and most coherent used Acuras because it combines a lively naturally aspirated engine with a simple, honest chassis.
The key is not to invent problems it does not have. The K24A2 uses a timing chain, not a belt, so the real priorities are oil level, gearbox condition, suspension wear and routine fluid service. A good TSX I should feel tight, eager and mechanically transparent.
