The DB7 GT is the late DB7 an enthusiastic driver genuinely wants to use. Introduced in 2002, it pushes the `5.9 V12` to around `435 hp`, tightens the presentation and gives the big British coupe more tension in the way it reacts. It is still far from a brutal sports car, but it looks toward a long-legged Porsche 911 more clearly than toward a boulevard GT.
The GT should never be read in isolation because the automatic `GTA` shares most of the technical picture. The manual GT is the one enthusiasts seek for its mechanical connection, while the GTA aims more at ease. In both cases, you buy a final series that is better finished, better braked and more coherent than the early DB7 Vantage, with all the collector-value effects and low-mileage temptations that come with that.
