Launched in `2025` for the Chinese market, the `Audi Q6L e-tron` adapts the `PPE` platform into a long-wheelbase interpretation that prioritises rear-seat space and status more than the European `Q6 e-tron`. Compared with a Tesla Model 3, it is not a direct rival in size, but a long premium EV designed for a very different use case and market. In practice, it has to be read as a very recent China-only Audi that depends heavily on dealer support, software and model-specific parts.
The technical brief revolves around a large battery and an `800 V` base, but on such a young local-market version the real issue is overall coherence: rapid charging, preconditioning, thermal management, `12 V` battery, reduction gear, rear comfort features and update quality. A well-followed Q6L e-tron therefore needs to look clean in its displays, charge without erratic behaviour and come with a very clear dealer file.
