Launched in `2010`, the `RS5 Coupe 8T` opened the `RS5` line with a very clear brief: a large `quattro` coupe, a naturally aspirated `V8` and real everyday usability despite serious performance. Against a Porsche 911 or a highly powered Mercedes C-Class, it is less about raw edge and more about combining sound, confidence and usability. That same blend is what makes good examples attractive and poor ones expensive.
At the centre sits the `4.2 FSI` with `450 hp`, paired with the `S tronic` and `quattro`. The engine lives on revs and on clean ancillaries rather than neglect: ignition, intake condition, cooling, oil quality and a properly followed gearbox history all matter. Brakes, front axle, tyre wear and the broader question of whether the car received real upkeep or only image-led spending are just as important.
