Restyled from `2015`, the first `RSQ3` becomes the version many buyers prioritise: a more modern presentation, more power and later `Performance` versions up to `367 hp`. Against a highly powered BMW 5 Series, it remains a proposal of its own: compact SUV, charismatic five-cylinder engine and easier daily use than a radical hot hatch. Used, it seems more complete than the `2013-2014` car, but it still does not forgive shortened servicing.
This phase revolves around the `2.5 TFSI` `CZGA` and `CZGB`, still with `S tronic` and all-wheel drive using `Haldex` logic. `Performance` versions add desirability, but also more pressure on tyres, brakes, front axle and cooling budget. The quality of an `RSQ3 facelift` shows in engine and gearbox services, thermal control, ignition health and running-gear condition more than in the five-cylinder soundtrack alone.
