Facelifted in autumn 2021, the BMW iX3 (G08 facelift) keeps its philosophy as a sensible electric SUV, but becomes more complete in presentation and equipment. Compared with a Tesla Model Y, it remains less radical in its approach, sticking instead to a very BMW recipe: familiar ergonomics, strong comfort, rear-wheel drive and an ownership proposition that is easy to understand. This is often the phase to target if you want a mature iX3 without unnecessary complexity.
The technical picture stays simple with `286 hp`, `400 Nm` and an `80 kWh` gross battery, but BMW improves the whole package through calibration, equipment and presentation. On this version, the real difference comes from rapid-charging quality, thermal stability, reducer behaviour and the consistency of real-world range. The model looks calm on the surface, yet still needs serious follow-up on the high-voltage battery, the 12V battery and software updates.
