Plan d’maintenance BMW M2 Coupé (F87)

Launched in 2016, the BMW M2 Coupé (F87) carries on the tradition of small, sharp BMW M cars that remain relatively compact and still easy to read in use. Against a Porsche 911 or a larger M4, it offers a simpler, more playful format. That blend of compact size, rear-wheel drive and straight-six power is exactly why it keeps such strong appeal on the used market.

The first M2 uses the `N55B30A` with `370 hp`, before the `M2 Competition` arrives with the `S55B30A` and `410 hp`, then the `M2 CS` with `450 hp`. The mechanical reading therefore changes clearly by version: the early car is simpler and rounder, while Competition and CS are more serious, stiffer and more demanding thermally. Across the whole F87 line, cooling, lubrication, ignition, differential condition, the quality of the `DCT` or manual gearbox and running-gear wear all need watching closely.
