The CT6 II launched in 2023 is not a straightforward replacement for the global first-generation car: it becomes instead a prestige full-size saloon built for the Chinese market, with a sharper design, 5.22 metres of length and a deeply digital interior. In ambition it aims closer to a BMW 7 Series than a simple touring saloon, but with an even heavier emphasis on display, ambience and driver technology.
The entire range runs a 2.0 turbo 28T producing 174 kW and 350 Nm, paired with a 10-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive. This second CT6 compensates for the absent big engine through its overall package: 33-inch display, over-the-air updates, 5G connectivity, Super Cruise on equipped versions, Brembo front brakes and MRC suspension on higher trims. The car's appeal lies in this combination of technology and chassis refinement, not in headline horsepower alone.
