Cadillac XT4 I (facelift 2024) (2023-Présent)

The 2024 facelift finally gives the XT4 a presentation on par with recent premium codes. The large 33-inch curved display, the LYRIQ-inspired interface, Google built-in, 5G connectivity and a cleaner interior significantly change the on-board perception. Cadillac wants to make its small SUV more credible against a Mercedes GLA or another heavily digitalised compact crossover, without abandoning a more comfortable than sporty approach.

The mechanics remain deliberately simple: 2.0 turbo LSY, 9-speed automatic and AWD depending on version. That is good news for buyers, but it does not eliminate the vigilance points. On this phase, the quality of gearbox calibration, the cooling, tyre coherence and interface stability count almost as much as the engine itself. A beautiful screen does not compensate for a nervous transmission or temperamental electronics.
