The third `Flying Spur` marks a real peak of coherence for the modern Bentley saloon. A new platform, rear-wheel steering, a `48 V` chassis and an even more sophisticated cabin bring it closer to a technological limousine without taking away its very physical Bentley identity. The result is remarkable: a luxury four-door that can move at very high speed with almost unsettling ease while remaining extremely refined at low speed.
It naturally lines up against a Porsche Panamera or a large `S-Class`, but with a far more theatrical personality. The `V8` is probably the best all-round choice, the `W12` remains the most noble version and the `V6 hybrid` already opens the door to another way of using the `Flying Spur`. In every case, the way the car behaves depends heavily on the correct operation of its chassis systems and onboard electronics.
