Launched in 2005, the `Veyron 16.4` put Bugatti back at the summit with a quad-turbo `8.0-litre W16`, four-wheel drive and a top speed that rewrote the hypercar market. The coupe is not just about numbers either. Built in Molsheim, it combines unusual perceived quality with genuine high-speed stability, so it feels engineered to last as much as to impress.
On the road, the Veyron is surprisingly approachable. The `Ricardo` dual-clutch gearbox works with a level of smoothness that still feels unusual in this class, and the car stays calmer where a Lamborghini Aventador feels more theatrical. `Super Sport` versions at `1,200 hp` simply make temperature control, tyres and documented service history even more critical.
