📖Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport: the open-top hypercar that adds roof and sealing concerns to Veyron discipline

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport (2009-2015)

Revealed in 2008 and delivered from 2009, the `Veyron Grand Sport` takes the coupe formula into an open body with a removable roof. That was a serious engineering challenge on a car capable of more than `400 km/h`, and Bugatti reinforced the structure without losing the car's overall balance. With the `Grand Sport Vitesse` at `1,200 hp`, the open version even became one of the fastest production cars ever homologated.

Compared with the coupe, maintenance requires extra vigilance around sealing and roof fit, but the personality remains that of a hypercar that is unexpectedly docile at normal speed. Where a McLaren MP4-12C chases lightness first, the Grand Sport impresses through torque, traction and the feeling of solidity that runs through the chassis and transmission together.
