Unveiled at the end of `2018`, the Audi e-tron GT Concept announced the brand's future electric GT and primarily served as a technology showcase against a Tesla Model S that then dominated the upper electric segment. This has to be said clearly: it was not a proper generation sold on the market, but a demonstrator previewing the production car. This entry is therefore more useful for understanding the model's technical origin than for buying an ordinary used vehicle.
The concept already set out most of the recipe later used by the production e-tron GT: a very low platform, `800 V` architecture, a battery of roughly `90 kWh`, electric all-wheel drive and output close to `590 hp`. A concept car, however, does not follow the same durability logic or maintenance standards as a customer vehicle. With pre-series components, bespoke software and unfinished calibration, any surviving demonstrator has to be treated as an exceptional technical object, not as a straightforward premium EV.
