Bentley Mulsanne II (2010-2016)

The `Mulsanne` reintroduced in `2010` revives the idea of a truly independent large Bentley, conceived first and foremost as the brand's flagship. It reuses the old `6.75-litre V8`, modernised just enough for a new era, but above all it keeps a personality very different from the German limousine template. Everything is designed around the density of the ride, relative silence and the sense of an object that feels crafted rather than simply assembled.

A Mercedes-Benz S-Class always feels more technological; the `Mulsanne` offers something else, almost a heritage interpretation of luxury. That works brilliantly if the car has been maintained like the major piece it is.
