The 2013 facelift gave the `Enclave` a more substantial nose, a tidier dashboard and more safety equipment. Buick mostly improved the overall feel with better sound insulation, more welcoming seats and a less utilitarian interior. Underneath, however, it remained the same large American family SUV powered by the `3.6-litre V6` and a 6-speed automatic.
On the road, the facelifted Enclave still favours softness over pace. A Toyota Highlander often feels lighter and more rational, while the Buick wins on long-distance calm and suspension comfort. That comfort-first brief does not reduce the workload on the mechanical package though, so the cooling system, transmission and front axle still need disciplined maintenance.
