The facelifted `RS3 Sedan 8Y`, sold from `2024`, stays faithful to Audi's five-cylinder formula, but it belongs to a very recent stage of the model's life. That changes how you should assess it: there is less long-term ageing feedback, yet much more importance attached to updates, calibrations, possible recalls and the quality of dealer follow-up. On a car of this level, the file already matters a great deal.
The technical core is still the `2.5 TFSI` with `S tronic` and the rear torque splitter, now backed by more polished chassis and software tuning than at launch. The real questions therefore concern the coherence of the software, driver aids and transmission management as much as the engine itself. Brakes, tyres, alignment, front-axle condition and update history often tell you more than mileage on such a recent example.
