Launched in `2015`, the `RS3 Sportback 8VA` clearly modernises the first `RS3` while keeping the formula that made the model successful: a turbo five-cylinder, `S tronic`, all-wheel drive and a very usable compact format. It is more rounded than the `8PA`, yet on the used market it still has to be judged through the quality of its maintenance rather than the reputation of the engine alone.
Here the engine is the `367 hp` `2.5 TFSI` `CZGB`, paired with `S tronic` and a `quattro` system based on `Haldex`. The car can be very effective, but it has often been driven fast and sometimes modified. You therefore need to watch ignition, turbocharging, cooling, fluid services, the `S tronic`, the rear coupling, the brakes and the wheel alignment. A smart presentation is not enough on this kind of car.
