Introduced in late 2023 for 2024 deliveries, the fourth-generation Citroën C3 marks a strategic revolution. Built on the cost-efficient Smart Car platform, it takes on an upright SUV stance while democratising electric mobility with the budget-friendly ë-C3. Adhering to manufacturer Citroën C3 maintenance schedules protects warranty coverage and keeps running costs remarkably low.
The all-electric ë-C3 pairs an 83 kW (113 hp) motor with a 44 kWh LFP traction battery providing up to 320 km WLTP range. Unlike nickel-cobalt chemistries, LFP tolerates regular 100% charging without accelerated degradation. Petrol and 48V hybrid variants feature an overhauled 1.2 PureTech engine that finally ditches the wet belt in favour of a durable timing chain.
