Ford Galaxy II (2006-2015)

Launching in 2006 on Ford's EUCD platform, the second-generation Galaxy broke away from Volkswagen to become a pure Ford design. Featuring the innovative FoldFlatSystem, this EUCD platform 7-seater MPV allows second and third-row seats to fold flat into the floor, establishing high standards in Ford Galaxy maintenance. A 2010 facelift added LED tail lights, revised trim, and EcoBoost petrol engines.

The engine range is led by the smooth 2.0 / 2.2 TDCi diesels (140, 163, 175, 200 hp), equipped with a wet-sump cambelt arrangement. Petrol choices feature 2.0 Duratec and later 1.6/2.0 EcoBoost engines.
