BMW M4 Convertible (G83 LCI, facelift 2024) (2024-Présent)

The 2024-facelifted BMW M4 Cabriolet G83 remains a very high-level cabriolet, closer to a very fast grand open-top car than to a light sports machine. Against a contemporary Porsche 911 Cabriolet, it leans on power, stability and the comfort-performance compromise rather than compactness. The LCI phase mainly brings more power, a revised cabin and more software integration, without making maintenance simpler.

The core version remains the `M4 Competition Convertible xDrive`, now lifted to `530 hp` by the `S58` biturbo straight-six. The `8-speed M Steptronic`, `M xDrive`, cooling system and electronic chassis management therefore sit at the centre, together with the normal cabriolet subjects: fabric roof, seals, water tightness, alignment and overall rigidity. On this car, drivetrain and body system need to be read together, not separately.
