The 2024 facelift brings the standard Escalade up to the visual and technology standard expected in the large luxury SUV segment. The interior evolves noticeably with a large 55-inch display and widely available Super Cruise, but Cadillac preserves the fundamentals behind the model's success: a large V8, an imposing silhouette and touring refinement. Its rival remains the Lincoln Navigator, met by a Cadillac approach that is even more demonstrative.
Beneath the update, the mechanical hierarchy remains familiar: 6.2 V8 L87 for the core of the range, the supercharged LT4 for V-series variants. The issue is less about power than about overall coherence on such a heavy vehicle - even more so when the digital interface takes up so much space. A slightly lazy gearbox, a front axle that already shows wear or an unstable infotainment system are enough to dramatically reduce the appeal on this type of car.
