Launched in spring `2017`, the `S5 Cabriolet F5` moves a long way from the old `8T`: more digital, stiffer and even more `GT` than extrovert muscle convertible. Against a BMW 4 Series Convertible, it leans more on `quattro`, torque and easy long-distance pace than on chassis playfulness alone. On the used market it therefore needs to be understood as a fast, heavy Audi with open-top appeal, not as a dressed-up `A5`.
