Reviving a historic nameplate in 2022, the Fiat E-Ulysse III entered the market as a fully electric seven- or eight-seater passenger MPV built on the Stellantis EMP2 platform, tailored for executive airport shuttles, hotel fleets and large eco-conscious families. Operating such a heavy pure-electric vehicle requires specialised Fiat Ulysse maintenance, focusing on high-voltage electrical integrity, thermal management and chassis wear.
The powertrain features a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor driving the front wheels, fed by either a 50 kWh or 75 kWh high-voltage traction battery backed by liquid cooling. The system supports 11 kW AC charging and 100 kW DC rapid charging. Maintaining the dedicated battery coolant circuit and verifying the health of the on-board charger (OBC) are essential to prevent charging halts, while the conventional 12V battery must be monitored to ensure main high-voltage contactor closure.
