Unveiled in 2019, the facelifted BMW 7 Series Saloon G11 LCI adopted a commanding visual presence, distinguished by an expansive single-piece kidney grille, slimmer headlights and full-width rear LED light bar. Inside, acoustic insulation was further enhanced with thicker laminated side glass and updated BMW Live Cockpit Professional software. Enjoying its opulent grand-touring character requires dedicated BMW 7 Series maintenance, especially regarding electrified powertrains and onboard computing.
Powertrains received comprehensive upgrades: the straight-six B57 diesels gained 48V mild-hybrid assistance on later builds, the six-cylinder 745e replaced the older four-cylinder 740e with superior electric power, and the 750i received the formidable 530 hp N63B44T3 V8. All models channel power through an updated ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox and available xDrive. The standard adaptive air suspension delivers unmatched long-distance pliancy when kept free of pneumatic leaks.
